  13.    Thank you for purchasing the Pool Service Billing Program, the program that
  14.    creates the monthly invoices for the computer  services  you  provide  your
  15.    customers.

  18.                               INSTALL PROCEDURES

  20.    Create two subdirectories.  It is suggested that you use POOLSERV and TEST.
  21.    You may use any two names you desire.   The  rest  of  this  document  will
  22.    assume  that POOLSERV and TEST was used.  Copy the Computer Service Billing
  23.    files into the POOLSERV subdirectory.

  25.    Move to this subdirectory and type {POOLINFO} (The curly braces enclose the
  26.    characters you should type.  Do not type  the  curly  braces),  then  press
  27.    Enter.   This  will  start  a  program  to  allow  you to read or print the
  28.    documentation files and to run POOLSERV for the first time.

  30.    When you are through reading the  documentation  select  RUN  POOLSERV  and
  31.    press enter.

  33.    The customizer program will ask you to enter data concerning  your  company
  34.    data.   As you finish entering each field press the enter key to advance to
  35.    the next field.  Note the subdirectory names of POOLSERV and TEST.   Change
  36.    them  if  you  used different names.  Once you have entered all of the data
  37.    the Computer Billing program  will  begin  by  displaying  the  MAIN  menu.
  38.    Please  note  that  PF1  (program  function  key  1)  will display the help
  39.    screens.

  41.    The tutorial has been provided to teach you  the  basic  operation  of  the
  42.    program.   All  data  will be stored into the TEST subdirectory.  After you
  43.    have completed the tutorial and  feel  confident  in  entering  your  data,
  44.    create  a subdirectory to contain your data.  Run the customizer and change
  45.    TEST to the name you just used.  The customizer will save the new value and
  46.    you are ready now to begin creating your customer records.
